How does SSLPatrol differ from usual 'certificate checkers'?

This is a desktop application with projects and tags that runs on your computer. You don't need to register an account on a third-party service. Basic functions are available right on your computer.

How often are checks performed?

You decide when to start a check yourself.

Is domain name monitoring supported?

Yes. Built-in WHOIS checks help not to miss domain renewals.
